Compare BDCs
Latest-filing portfolio metrics, apples-to-apples across the tracked universe. Spread is the FV-weighted floating-rate spread over base, in basis points; fair values are each manager’s own SEC-filed estimates. P/NAV, dividend yield and gross debt-to-equity come from each BDC’s latest annual balance sheet and most recent share price — a dash means that input isn’t on file yet. Click a column to sort.

Where lenders disagree
The same borrower, at the same seniority, marked at materially different prices by two or more BDCs at their most recent filings. A wide gap — especially alongside a non-accrual flag — is where one lender is recognizing stress the others have not. Marks are each manager’s own SEC-filed fair-value estimate as a percent of par (100 = par); each shows its filing date, so a gap between different quarters can reflect timing as much as a genuine credit view. The match is at the borrower + seniority level, not the individual loan — two lenders may hold different tranches, so open the borrower page to confirm the facilities before reading a gap as disagreement.

Understand what you are looking at
These pages show what BDCs actually hold, straight from their SEC filings. If the terms are new, the free BDC course explains them in plain English -- what a business development company is, how to read a schedule of investments, and why a fund can trade above or below the value of what it owns.
