Timeshare Tours

The count of sales presentations a timeshare operator delivered to prospective buyers in the period -- the top of its sales funnel. Tours are expensive to generate (marketing, incentives, staff), so the business is really a conversion machine: tours multiplied by the share that buy, multiplied by the average contract price, is close to gross sales. Read tours WITH the closing rate rather than alone. Rising tours and a falling close rate is a company buying volume it cannot convert, and the marketing cost lands this quarter while the revenue may not.
