Ancillary Spend per Visit
Everything a guest spends beyond the lift ticket or room -- food and beverage, ski school, rentals, retail -- divided by visits. It matters more than its size suggests: ancillary revenue usually carries different (often higher) margins than the admission itself, and it is the lever an operator can pull without raising headline prices. Rising ancillary spend on flat visits is a genuine yield improvement; rising visits with flat ancillary spend suggests the incremental guest is a pass holder who brings a packed lunch.
