Resort Occupancy
The share of available resort or vacation-ownership inventory that was actually occupied in the period. It is close in spirit to hotel occupancy but not the same measure: a timeshare resort's rooms are largely owned by members, so occupancy reflects owner usage and exchange activity as well as paid rental nights, and the revenue attached to an occupied night varies enormously depending on which of those it is. High occupancy in a timeshare portfolio is therefore a utilization and member-engagement signal first, and a pricing signal only second.
